The Southern Cassowary is an endangered species. With the Art Trail we would like to create a better awareness of protecting the bird and support conservation projects. Local artists paint real size cassowary statues which are set up in the public as a trail first set up 2022 in Kuranda and ongoing expanding in Tropical North Queensland Australia.
